CURRICULUM
This workshop will provide hands-on experience and personal instruction to capture astrophotography (think milky way photos), star trails and other landscape outdoor photography. We will also give you instruction and hands-on experience to improve your natural light portrait and fashion photography on-location and teach you how to implement strobes (flash photography) when capturing portraits outdoors. Our curriculum covers the recommended camera equipment and settings to be used, best practices for shooting landscape, astrophotography and portraits outdoors, lighting modifiers, light quality, and general posing techniques. Learn how to create surreal, dramatic landscapes during the day and at night and also natural light portraits and portraits using strobes.
Prerequisite: Attendees must be able to use a DSLR with manual settings. Attendees must understand camera operations and digital photography. Bring your own digital camera (DSLR or Mirrorless). Hiking, climbing and walking outdoors for some length on and off-road terrain will be necessary so please be prepared.

Our curriculum covers camera equipment and settings, best practices for shooting portraits outdoors, lighting modifiers, light quality, and general posing techniques. Learn how to create surreal, dramatic portraits using strobes.
Prerequisite: Attendees must be able to use a DSLR with manual settings. Attendees must understand lighting fundamentals and feel comfortable using strobes. Bring your own digital camera (DSLR or Mirrorless) or use one of ours for an additional $25.
